Whilst I love writing articles for my readers sometimes other people say things just a little bit better than me! Or at least are better placed to say them! So here’s my round-up of the blog, stories and articles you might have missed of the last couple of weeks

Preparing for Competition: What is Enough? – Emily Kwok
Emily Kwok has written more than one fabulous article regard women’s jiu jitsu and being a smaller grappler. This is great article looking at her return to competition for the world masters and how much training is enough when prepping for competition?

A nice little blog post from GD Jiu Jitsu Academy on the psychology of the sport and mental benefits of training.

Thinxs Underwear Review – Eat, Train, Lift.

The Raspberry Ape Podcast – Kurt Osiander
I do regularly listen to the Raspberry Ape podcast so it may feature on here frequently but I’ll be honest there are dozens of reasons for me not to enjoy the Kurt Osiander episode (adult only, foul and homophobic language to start with) but it also was rather entertaining! Covering all things jiu jitsu right through to the zombie apocalypse!
Technical Takeaway
Following posting all about my BJJ Globetrotters experience is it any surprise that this round ups technical takeaway is from the same camp? Stay watching at around 17 minutes for a guest Uke appearance from yours truly and some very fast tapping!
