Whilst I love writing articles for my readers sometimes other people say things just a little bit better than me! Or at least are better placed to say them! So here’s my round-up of the blog, stories and articles you might have missed of the last couple of weeks or I just think you might find useful!

Articles
Creating a Psychological Safe Space on the Mats – Skirt on the Mat – A blog look at how to create environment where lower belts feel comfortable asking for help / asking questions.

So you want to compete… – JiuJolie – As the title implies a blog about making the transition into competing.

Random Information
We all know sleep is crucial to recovery so I recently spotted a new piece of research that found the best timing of warm baths / showers to improve sleep quality is about 90 minutes before going to bed. It’s supposed to help the natural circadian process, increasing your chances of falling asleep quickly and having a better quality of sleep.

What I’m listening to….
I know I mentioned the Matburn podcast only a couple of weeks ago but they keep churning out interesting content. On this podcast (episode 5) this includes how to roll with women.

If you want to know how to roll with girls – match their strength, match their speed, and then use your technique.

What I’m watching….
If you’re active on social media you cannot miss the fact the Russell Brand received his Blue Belt in BJJ but you might have missed his video on the experience.
